Thailand has updated labor regulations, effective April 24, 2026, to mandate overtime pay for security personnel and others responsible for guarding premises. 对于正常工作日超过8小时的工作,雇主必须支付至少1.25倍的工人每小时工资;在休息日加班时间则应支付最低2.5倍. The new rules require employers to pay at least 1.25 times an employee’s hourly wage for work exceeding eight hours on regular workdays, and at least 2.5 times the hourly rate for overtime on rest days. 这些规定甚至适用于轮班工作,只要每周的工作时间不超过48小时. These provisions apply even in shift work scenarios, as long as weekly hours do not exceed 48.
