The eastern causeway of Cambodia’s 12th-century Beng Mealea temple in the Angkor Archaeological Park has been restored using funding from the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation Special Fund, regaining its structural stability and original appearance.
该项目于2024年5月开工后于2025年7月竣工,修复了100米长的堤道,有12个柱子和13个排水管道,并修复了受损的Nagabalustrades,恢复了古老的水系统。
Completed in July 2025 after work began in May 2024, the project repaired a 100-meter-long causeway with 12 pillars and 13 drainage channels, reinstalled damaged Naga balustrades, and revived the ancient water system.
修复工作由APSARA国家管理局监督,保存了寺庙的文化遗产,并加强了对参观者的吸引力。
The restoration, overseen by the APSARA National Authority, has preserved the temple’s cultural heritage and enhanced its appeal to visitors.
