The ECOWAS Community Court of Justice held a three-day meeting in Abuja, Nigeria, from February 16 to 18, 2026, with Nigeria’s Competent National Authority and other stakeholders to improve enforcement of its rulings.

The talks focused on challenges and progress in implementing court decisions, especially in human rights and cross-border cases, and aimed to strengthen institutional cooperation, build capacity, and standardize procedures across member states.
这次活动是西非经共体第50次周年活动的一部分,是继与塞拉利昂进行类似接触之后举办的,并计划今后在几内亚举行会议。
The event was part of ECOWAS’s 50th-anniversary activities and followed similar engagements with Sierra Leone, with future meetings planned for Guinea.
