The Ohi Data Navigator has been relaunched in February 2026, offering Aotearoa New Zealand communities access to long-term data on 869,000 youth aged 12 to 24 using information from 2018 to 2024.

The tool reveals a two-percentage-point rise in youth experiencing disadvantage, with about 25,000 more young people facing multiple risks in education, employment, justice, or care.

Nationally, one in five youth face exclusion, rising to over one in three in some rural or non-urban areas.
