In February 2026, over 3,000 people, including Hindus and local Buddhists, gathered in Maungdaw, Rakhine State, Myanmar, for the 75th Maha Ramayana Harinama Ram chanting festival at Kyaukpantu mountain, a site linked to the Ramayana epic.
这次为期四天的活动由Maungdaw印度教事务委员会在阿拉干人民革命政府的支持下和阿拉干军队的安全支持下举办,活动内容包括宗教圣歌、向哈努曼祈祷、素食和免费医疗。
Organized by the Maungdaw Hindu affairs committee with support from the Arakan People’s Revolutionary Government and security by the Arakan Army, the four-day event featured religious chants, prayers to Hanuman, vegetarian meals, and free healthcare.
