The Election Commission has deployed 294 senior micro-observers from neighboring states to oversee voter list hearings in West Bengal’s 294 assembly constituencies, beginning January 26.

These officers, from Group-A services in Odisha, Bihar, and Jharkhand, will supervise 6,600 existing micro-observers at hearing centers.
