Conducted by Karolinska Institutet and published in the Journal of Cachexia, Sarcopenia and Muscle, the research shows that even starting exercise later in life can improve physical capacity by 5% to 10%, proving it’s never too late to benefit.
While exercise can’t stop decline entirely, it significantly slows it.
