自2026年1月2日起, Milton公共图书馆将取消对儿童和青少年书籍及DVD等视听材料的逾期罚款, Starting January 2, 2026, Milton Public Library will remove overdue fines on children’s and teen books and audio-visual materials like DVDs, clearing existing fines to improve access and support literacy. 变更不影响成人材料、电子游戏或物品图书馆,也不免除遗失或损坏物品、更换费用或未收货的搁置费。 The change does not affect adult materials, video games, or Library of Things items, nor does it waive fees for lost or damaged items, replacement costs, or uncollected holds. 图书馆鼓励客户在政策生效之前支付其他未偿费用。 The library encourages patrons to pay other outstanding fees before the policy takes effect.
