U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said Taiwan will assist in training American workers for advanced semiconductor manufacturing as final trade talks conclude, though Taiwan’s negotiator confirmed no formal agreement has been reached.

Lutnick highlighted $300 billion in semiconductor investments, including TSMC’s $100 billion additional pledge, bringing its total U.S. investment to $160.5 billion.
