A communications consultant for Irish businessman Denis O’Brien testified in Ireland’s High Court that he stands by a 2016 press release stating “Sinn Féin/IRA certainly got the report they paid for,” which solicitors Darragh Mackin and Gavin Booth claim defamed them by implying they were paid by the IRA.
