On 17 November 2025, South Africa faced multiple developments: Minister Dean Macpherson visited the Ohlange Institute to address delays in completing a heritage site honoring Dr John Dube; the Department of Water and Sanitation held events during International Fraud Awareness Week to combat corruption; Minister Velenkosini Hlabisa issued a Level 9 weather warning for Gauteng, North-West, and Mpumalanga, urging residents to prepare for severe flooding and related risks; and Minister Leon Schreiber launched the Travel Ready 2025 Campaign to help citizens secure valid travel documents ahead of the festive season.
