2025年11月7日, 博茨瓦纳第17支中国医疗队在Palapye的BIust举行免费健康推广活动, On November 7, 2025, the 17th Chinese medical team in Botswana held a free health outreach at BIUST in Palapye, offering consultations, exams, acupuncture, and massage to about 120 people. 此次活动在BILST副议长的支持下, 被视为中国与博茨瓦纳关系密切、医疗合作持续的迹象。 The event, supported by BIUST’s vice chancellor, was seen as a sign of strong China-Botswana ties and ongoing medical cooperation. 自1981年以来,中国向博茨瓦纳派遣了17个医疗队,500多名专业人员在哈博罗内和弗朗西斯敦为300多万病人提供护理。 Since 1981, China has sent 17 medical teams to Botswana, with over 500 professionals providing care to more than three million patients in Gaborone and Francistown.
