Savannah McKenzie, 34, operator of Kid Savvy Family Childcare in Hyde Park, has been charged with four counts of cruelty to a child following a joint investigation by the Lamoille County Sheriff’s Department and the Vermont Child Development Division.

The probe began on September 25 after staff tips raised concerns about safety violations.

McKenzie, who could not be reached for comment, is scheduled to appear in Lamoille Court on November 26.
