North Dakota Governor Kelly Armstrong will announce his appointment of a new state schools superintendent on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, replacing Kirsten Baesler, who has been confirmed by the U.S. Senate to serve as assistant secretary for elementary and secondary education in the U.S. Department of Education.
