South Africa’s Minister of Electricity and Energy, Kgosientsho Ramokgopa, unveiled the new R2.2 trillion Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) 2025 on October 19, 2025, replacing the 2019 version to combat persistent load shedding and boost economic growth.
