Indian peacekeepers serving with UNISFA in the contested Abyei region between Sudan and South Sudan were honored on October 5, 2025, in a ceremony reviewed by Maj. Gen. Robert Yaw Affram, the UN mission’s Acting Head of Mission and Force Commander.
