Skywatchers in the U.S. can view two major meteor showers in October: the Draconids peak on October 8 with up to 10 meteors per hour near the Draco constellation, and the Orionids peak on October 21 with up to 20 meteors per hour, including bright fireballs, visible in the southeast sky before midnight.
