A New Zealand mother sued her daughter’s school principal over emails sent to a Family Court lawyer, claiming defamation after the principal reported the child leaving school with an unknown woman and described the father as an “exemplary parent.” The incident occurred in February 2022 when the father arrived per a custody order, but staff called police after seeing the child with a stranger.
