Ahead of Bihar’s assembly elections, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced new financial support for grassroots workers, including a one-time Rs 25,000 tablet allowance for over 10,000 Vikas Mitras, increased transportation and stationery allowances, and Rs 10,000 smartphones for 30,000 Shiksha Sevaks and Talimi Markaz workers.
