Japanese Foreign Minister Yoko Kamikawa and her Indian counterparts, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, met for the third India-Japan '2+2' dialogue on 20 August 2024 in New Delhi. 对话的目的是审查印度-太平洋区域的局势,扩大双边战略联系,加强印度-日本防务伙伴关系,以确保印度-日本区域的自由、开放、包容和繁荣。 The dialogue aimed to review the situation in the Indo-Pacific region, expand bilateral strategic ties, and strengthen the India-Japan defence partnership for ensuring a free, open, inclusive, and prosperous Indo-Pacific region. 会谈还包括双边合作和进一步加强印度与日本接触的新倡议,以及就共同关心的区域和全球问题交换意见。 The talks also covered bilateral cooperation and new initiatives to further strengthen the engagements between India and Japan, as well as exchanging views on regional and global issues of mutual interest.
