卡纳塔克邦食品安全部门在接到食物中毒投诉后,对全邦范围内销售沙瓦玛的酒店和餐馆进行了严厉打击。 Karnataka Food Safety Department has cracked down on hotels and restaurants selling shawarma across the state after receiving complaints about food poisoning. 从 10 个地区采集的 17 个沙威玛样本中,只有 9 个被证实可以安全食用。 Out of 17 shawarma samples collected from 10 districts, only nine were found to be safe for human consumption. 其余的肉类由于卫生条件不达标,尤其是在准备过程中缺乏清洁以及肉类的长期储存,而含有酵母和细菌的痕迹。 The rest had traces of yeast and bacteria due to unhygienic conditions, especially lack of cleanliness during preparation and prolonged storage of the meat.
